What’s on | October

The warm weather has well and truly left us. Days at the beach will soon be replaced by cosy nights at home by the fire but not before a lively and spooky October here in Bournemouth.

Thrill Seeker?

If you are looking for something outdoors that will keep you on your toes, head on down to Bournemouths pier or seafront 12th October. Here you can be a spectator to the 21st centuries most popular water sport, Thundercat racing.

Watch all 12 races of high-speed twists, turns and big air shots from 11am until 4:30pm. You can save your pennies for Christmas as this event is free of charge.

Booze Cruise

Just because the nights are drawing in does not mean you can’t go out and play. Take a 3 hour evening cruise, tasting locally brewed beer and cider whilst taking in the beautiful views around Europes largest harbour. There will also be live music to dance to as well as a sausage BBQ.

This event takes place on 25th October, tickets are £30 and can be purchased via the company website: www.citycruisespoole.com

Zombie fest

Start Halloween early by taking part in this street festival in Poole town centre on 26th October. From the High street down to Broad Quay there will be plenty of spooky stalls and activities for all the family to enjoy. There will be lots of festival-goers dressed up as zombies, feel free to join in and dress to scare!
