Since taking over the hotel on Dec 1st, 2017. We have been working tirelessly to restore our beautiful late Victorian era hotel, back to its former glory. We have taken great care to embrace the Victorian features of the building, and have some incredible plans for the future.

In our first year we made a range of changes to the lovely Victorian mansion that we feel will make a real statement. In the coming months we have plans to build a new reception & Cocktail bar with Victorian clay tiles, as well as an Aquarium in our entrance hall to make our guest experience one to remember, whilst maintaining our coveted 5-star rating.

The hotel is run by Ricky’s wife Harps. Ricky is born and bred in Romford, Essex. Has worked in the hospitality industry since he was just 16 years of age. At 37 years of age, he took the plunge to build a beautiful hotel of his own. Ricky runs the hotel with his wife Harps, who previously worked with a global Sales & Marketing brand as a merchandiser.

Having fallen very much in love with Bournemouth and all that the surrounding area has to offer, both Ricky & Harps are committed and excited to build a bright future for one of Bournemouth’s hidden gems, the Balincourt.
